Interruption VS Regularly Scheduled Programming

Probably this bus ride has modeled my life as late. I'm unaware but it's already planned. A few years ago I read Priscilla's Life Interrupted and truly it told me what I already know- I hate to be interrupted. So as the bus was cruising smoothly towards New York, but then suddenly seemed to be on detour, I became distracted. "Bus, where are you going?" Acceptable answers: rest stop because the driver is tired or experiencing biological discomfort, traffic detour. Unacceptable answers: everything else. So after twenty minutes on some country little roads in Delaware, we stopped and picked up some more people. Unexpected interruption.  ðŸ˜³ So much for getting to NY early. But early for what? Recently as I read the account of Mary anointing Jesus before his death and Simon the Cyrene being charged with the task of bearing the cross- I wondered what am I missing out on?
