One of the Most Perplexing Gifts

It's one of the most perplexing gifts that I've ever received. Sure it's a beautiful shade of orange... but a colander? (Before you write me off as ungrateful and selfish, stick with me) I did the very choleric melancholy action of trying to think of why it would be of greater benefit than the colander I already have. Without much more than, it has a pretty color- I put it back in the gift bag.  Not too long later I felt motivated to look up the meaning of colander. I was reflecting on what's been going on in my life, and things started to click...  I've been in a purging refining process for the last 7 months! I've been inside the divine colander. Just when I think it's over, the water comes back on again.
